How to Convert Salary to Hourly Rate
To find your hourly rate from an annual salary, divide your salary by the total hours you work per year. For a standard 40-hour week and 52-week year, that's 2,080 hours. A $75,000 salary works out to about $36.06 per hour.
If you take unpaid time off or work part-time, adjust the weeks-per-year input to get a more accurate effective hourly rate.
